WALKILL CF WATER TREATMENT PLANT

Darlind was selected as the General Construction Contractor to construct this new water treatment plant in Wallkill, NY.

The project scope includes the construction of a new treatment building with (2) 350 MPD microfiltration units, UV disinfection equipment, chemical feed equipment, new valve house and pump house as well as approx 9000 lf of new pipeline which will require a significant amount of directional drilling. The water supply will come from a series of drilled wells and from the NYC Aqueduct.

Construction commenced late in the fall of 2009, and is anticipated to be completed within 12 months
