COMPLETED PROJECT

IONA COLLEGE - RYAN LIBRARY

Darlind was selected as the General Contractor for our fourth major project for Iona College.

The Library project consisted of the construction of a new atrium entrance addition along with the renovations of the existing Library and a 14,000 square foot addition to the rear of the facility.

The design and phasing required that work take place while the existing facility remained in use, requiring close coordination with the college and Library staff.

Features of the project included: new boilers, air conditioning and building management system for the existing facility and new additions. Detailed masonry arches and cast stone work, slate roofing and ornate woodwork throughout the project.
