CURRENT PROJECT

C&S WHOLESALE GROCERS CHESTER EXPANSION

This project consists of a 355,000 square foot refrigerated addition to the Existing C&S Facility in Chester, NY. The steel and concrete structure rises 80 feet above grade and has 48 dock levelers and overhead doors. The project is being performed for The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company’s Baltimore office.

Darlind’s scope of work consists of excavation and backfill, cast in place concrete work including 4,200 cubic yards of foundation concrete, 160 tons of reinforcing steel as well as a truckers lounge, electrical room addition, miscellaneous slabs and curbs throughout the building. Darlind was awarded the project in early October and hopes to be 90% complete before the snow flies.
