COMPLETED PROJECT

BRISTOL PARK

Darlind was selected by Savanna Partners, LLC to serve as the Construction Manager for the redevelopment, renovation and tenant improvement for the former General Motors factory in Bristol, CT.

The former home of New Departure - Hyatt Bearings contains 1,131,714 square feet of leasable floor area, much of which had been vacant for many years. Our scope included the expansion of a current tenant's warehouse facility by 114,000 square feet, the creation of a new manufacturing facility, and general maintenance repairs and updates including re-roofing large areas of the existing building.

Some of the unique aspects of the project included the "Roof Raising" of more than 243,000 square feet of manufacturing area to accomodate tenant crane requirements as well as bringing a railroad spur into the building.

This fast track project created new manufacturing and warehouse jobs, and will prove to be a significant enhancement to the local community and economy.
