Iona College — James P. Hynes Athletic Center

Opened in January of 2006, the Hynes Center is a 44,000 square foot addition to the Mulcahy Campus Center. The completed facility is one of the largest sports complexes in the northeast, and provides state of the art athletic facilities for recreational and intramural programs. The Hynes Center features an open atrium lobby, a new Hall of Fame, three multi-purpose courts, extensive cardiovascular and aerobic areas, a conference center, a rowing tank, and new offices for coaches and staff.

The $13 million project is the second critical project DCI completed at Iona, as part of Iona’s Vision into Reality expansion program.
